Job Description

Our client is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team. They are a dynamic construction consultancy built on innovation, accountability, and collaboration. With nearly 20 years’ experience and a national reputation, they deliver landmark projects through modern methods, a client-focused approach, and a firm commitment to sustainability and net-zero goals. This role covers pre-construction through to delivery, with a focus on cost management, procurement, and contract administration across a variety of building and civil engineering projects. The role: Prepare cost plans, bills of quantities, valuations, and cost reports in line with RIBA stages. Lead procurement, tendering, and contract management (JCT, NEC, frameworks). Oversee budgets, cash flow forecasts, and change control to deliver best-value outcomes. Advise clients and stakeholders on commercial, contractual, and risk matters. Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure smooth project delivery.What they’re looking for: Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field (RICS-accredited). Chartered (MRICS/MCIOB) or working towards qualification. Strong knowledge of procurement routes, construction methods, and industry standards. Experience preparing cost plans, valuations, and contract administration. Excellent commercial awareness, negotiation skills, and attention to detail.
