Quantity Surveyor
Location: Maidstone (with flexible/hybrid working available)
Hours: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £55,000 – £70,000

Our well established consultancy client is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team.
The successful candidate will primarily be working with JCT contracts, particularly JCT Minor Works and the Intermediate form, and will also benefit from having some knowledge of NEC forms of contract.
Key responsibilities include:
* Producing feasibility reports and cost advice.
* Preparing contract documentation.
* Preparing interim payment certificates and dealing with pay less notices.
* Measuring completed work in accordance with SMM7.
* Attending client and project meetings and taking minutes.
* Certifying and considering requests for extensions of time.
* Providing clear and regular client updates.
* Certifying practical completion and other time-related matters.
About You:
* Ideally, you will have at least five years’ experience in a similar role.
* You will have strong knowledge of JCT contracts and some familiarity with NEC.
* You will be confident in managing your own workload and capable of looking after two contracts ranging from £2m to £5m, with limited supervision.
* Strong communication and organisational skills are essentialBefore You Apply
