Quantity Surveyor (Refurbishment Projects)
Location: Ealing, London
Salary: £45,000 – £65,000 + package + bonuses
I’m delighted to be working with an ambitious and steadily growing contractor based in Ealing, who are now looking to add a talented Quantity Surveyor to their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced QS to join a forward-thinking company and play a key role in their continued success.
The Role
As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be involved in projects from cradle to grave – taking responsibility from estimating through to handover. You’ll work across multiple divisions including refurbishment, decorating, dry lining, and heating, ensuring smooth delivery and commercial success.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee all financial aspects of projects from inception to completion
*
Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts
*
Negotiate contracts, manage variations, and ensure cost control
*
Liaise closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
*
Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
About You
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
*
Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying (or related field)
*
5+ years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within refurbishment or sub contracting
*
Strong commercial acumen and excellent negotiation skills
*
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
*
A proactive, solutions-driven approach with strong attention to detail
