Quantity Surveyor
Crewe (site location TBC)
We're looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team and support the successful delivery of a key infrastructure project - a Cycle Route Upgrade Scheme in Crewe.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong commercial background in civil engineering or infrastructure projects to take on a pivotal role in managing the financial and contractual aspects of a project delivered under an NEC contract.
What you'll be doing:
Administering and managing the NEC contract to ensure compliance and performance.
Preparing and submitting interim valuations, final accounts, and cost reports.
Assisting in the procurement and management of subcontractor packages.
Supporting change management processes, including compensation events.
Providing accurate cost forecasting and risk assessments to the client and project team.
Ensuring robust commercial controls are in place and maintained.
Preparing monthly reports, including earned value analysis and CVRs.
What we're looking for:
Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying (or related discipline).
Minimum 3 years' experience in civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts.
Proven ability in cost reporting, forecasting, and subcontract management.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
