* London: The main part of the business which delivers prime residential refurbishments in London between £5m - £15m.
* Small works: Their small works offering which typically delivers projects up to £3m, they are typically more interiors biased with limited structural alterations.
* Country estates: Specialises in refurbishments of Country Estates located outside of London, typically between £7m - £10m in contract value.
They secure a large percentage of their work from recommendations and referrals from professional teams but also from end users who are impressed with their services. Their projects range in complexity from challenging structural alterations, cut and carve, ground works and basement excavation, façade retention, demolition and rebuild through to high end internal finishes. They are also very experienced in refurbishing properties with a listing and understand the intricacies and attention to detail needed. They have a number of long-term members of staff in the company, who have started with the company at a junior level and progress up the ranks into their current capacity. They rarely make external appoints past an intermediate level, preferring to promote from within.

Structural refurbishment to a single substantial in a prominent and prestigious area of London. Work includes strip out, structural alterations, layout reconfiguration, high quality bespoke fit out including extensive joinery and extensive imported stone installations throughout including extensive fit out of leisure facilities in the basement including swimming pool, sauna, cinema and entertainment areas.
Key packages include: £1m – Joinery, £1m - Stonework, £2.5m – Mechanical & Electrical.
Role: Quantity Surveyor
Seeking a Quantity Surveyor who will be based between this project and their office. This is an exciting project to be part of. There will be extensive support from the commercial team, with a Senior Quantity Surveyor on another project within close proximity, an assistant on site and a visiting commercial manager.
Responsibilities:
* Building and maintaining working relationships with Architects, Quantity Surveyors, Clients, and Subcontractors.
* Taking ownership of preparing valuations and final accounts, helping keep projects on track financially.
* You'll play a key role in monitoring project performance by producing monthly cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and final account projections.
* Managing and agreeing client and sub-contractor variations.
* Managing subcontractor packages from start to finish, including re-measuring works, reviewing payment applications, and issuing accurate payment notices on time
