MEP Quantity Surveyor – Dartford | Leading Contractor | £65k–£80k + Package
Location: Dartford, Kent
Job Type: Full-Time, Potential Temp-Perm

About the Role:
Our client, a respected and rapidly growing M&E contractor, is looking for a Mechanical & Electrical Quantity Surveyor (MEP QS) to join their team based in Dartford. The successful candidate will be working on a range of commercial, residential, and industrial projects across London and the South East.
You’ll be responsible for the commercial management of multiple projects, ensuring value is maximised and costs are controlled effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of quantity surveying for M&E packages
*
Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost plans
*
Carry out valuations, variations, and final accounts
*
Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure commercial success
*
Monitor subcontractor performance and manage payments
*
Identify risks, opportunities, and ensure compliance with contracts
*
Support procurement of sub-contractors and major packages
What We're Looking For:
*
Minimum 3+ years experience as a Quantity Surveyor within MEP or Building Services
*
Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or relevant construction discipline
*
Strong knowledge of NEC/JCT contracts
*
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
*
Proven track record managing multiple MEP projects
*
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam, or similar commercial tools
*
UK driving licence (some travel may be required)
