Job Description
A national, multi-disciplinary construction consultancy is seeking a professional Quantity Surveyor to join their Headquarters in Southampton having secured a lot of new work.
The Quantity Surveyor’s role
Working alongside the Commercial Director, the successful Quantity Surveyor will be working on fire remediation projects (prior experience in this sector isn’t necessary), taking on a QS/EA/PM role.
Day to day, the new Quantity Surveyor will be working on sites across the South, carrying out contract administration, cost planning, managing variations, and overseeing programmes of work.
The Quantity Surveyor
* Completed a Quantity Surveying degree or similar
* Working towards completing your APC
* Quantity Surveying experience within a PQS / Consultancy environment
* Happy to work on fire remediation projects
* Driving licence and car – happy to travel to sites
* Pre and post contract experience
* EA/PM experience would be useful
