Our client, a leader in essential infrastructure services, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their Water and wastewater capital project delivery team. This permanent role will be playing a crucial part in delivering large-scale capital programmes to maintain and enhance water infrastructure across Scotland. You will be part of a respected and experienced team, working to protect the environment and ensure the resilience of water services for future generations.
Key Responsibilities:
Administering the commercial and financial aspects of the Capital Delivery Framework
Working closely with delivery teams on clean and waste infrastructure projects
Supporting delivery management and on-site teams
Ensuring operational control of costs, maximising value, and minimising future liabilities
Assisting the Estimating team to ensure robust estimates align with project scope
Preparing Subcontracts and procurement strategies in collaboration with relevant teams
Producing accurate live forecasting and reporting in line with work breakdown structures
Monitoring actual costs, providing variance reports, and suggesting resolutions
Ensuring project team members understand contractual arrangements
Maintaining proper records for financial audits and cost assuranceJob Requirements:
Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor
Valid UK driving licenceBenefits:
