No.2 Quantity Surveyor – High-End Commercial & Fit-Out Contractor
Project: St Georges Street, Mayfair – £35m Commercial Building (60,000 sq ft)
Salary: £55,000–£70,000

Acted as the second-in-command QS, supporting the Senior QS in the commercial management of a £35m heavy refurbishment and cut & carve project, including Cat A fit-out and new rooftop extension.

Prepared and assessed subcontractor quotations, cost plans, and tender documentation, ensuring competitive procurement and adherence to project budgets.
*
Measured and valued works on-site, managed interim valuations, variations, and final accounts in line with JCT/NEC contracts.
*
Monitored project costs and assisted in forecasting, maintaining strict control over budget, cash flow, and commercial risk.
*
Collaborated closely with project managers, design teams, and clients to identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving measures.

Maintained accurate records of contractual correspondence, change orders, and financial reports, supporting transparent reporting to senior management and stakeholdersBefore You Apply
