First Task Professional are delighted to be partnering with an established civils and groundworks contractor that requires a Quantity Surveyor due to recent project wins and a sustained period of growth. The business primarily works across Fife, Lothians, Perth & Borders and delivers a variety of earthworks, roads and drainage projects for main contractors, developers and private clients up to the value of £3m.
Working closely with the Senior QS, you will be involved with:
* Manage the commercial aspects of multiple groundworks projects from inception to final account
* Measure and value work, prepare interim applications and final accounts
* Identify and manage variations, valuations, and change
* Provide accurate forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting
* Liaise closely with site teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure project profitability
* Assist in procurement and management of subcontractors
* Ensure compliance with contracts and mitigate commercial risks
Rewards:
* Salary up to £60,000 DOE + car allowance
* Bonus up 10%
