Job Description
A leading multidisciplinary construction consultancy is currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team in Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor with 2-4 years' experience to take the next step in their career within a supportive and collaborative environment.
The Quantity Surveyor
The successful Quantity Surveyor will join a consultancy known for delivering cost and project management services across a wide range of sectors, including commercial, residential, education, and healthcare. With offices across the UK, they are continuing to grow and invest in developing their regional teams.
This role would suit a Quantity Surveyor looking for a progressive and sociable environment where they can gain exposure to a wide variety of projects and clients. Confidence, enthusiasm, and a collaborative approach are key qualities the team is looking for in a Quantity Surveyor.
Role & Responsibilities:
Supporting the delivery of pre- and post-contract cost management duties
Working on a variety of projects across multiple sectors
Preparing cost estimates, procurement advice, and contract administration
Attending client and design team meetings
Working closely with senior colleagues while developing autonomy on projectsRequired Experience:
Around 2-4 years' UK experience working as a Quantity Surveyor
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar construction-related subject
Ideally working towards or interested in achieving MRICS status
Experience across a mix of sectors is desirable
Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills and a team-focused attitude
