Our client, a regional subcontractor that has a mixture of works across the region including Demolition, Remediation, Earthworks & Civils is looking to recruit and experienced Quantity Surveyor to work on a variety of projects throughout the North West. Their core business is civils for some of the major housebuilders in the region, including a variety of Earthworks and Plot Groundworks, Roads & Sewers. They offer very competitive salary and package and are massive on helping their staff progress to the next level.
Quantity Surveyor Key Accountabilities:
* Commercial Management
* Procurement
* Final Accounts
* Cost Reporting
* CVR’s
* Procurement of Sub-Contractors
* Take Offs
* Management of Sub-Contractors
* Valuations
* Cash flow forecasting.
* Manage all commercial aspects of the project
Quantity Surveyor Requirements:
* Relevant industry qualification (HND/HNC/BSc or equivalent)
* Experience working for a civil engineering contractor
* Excellent communication and people and team management skills
* Drive and determination to make this role their own
