Job Title: Quantity Surveyor – New Build Care Home (Permanent)
Location: Farnham (Hybrid – Office, Site & Remote)
Contract Type: Permanent
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our growing regional contracting business to support the delivery of a new 120-bed care home development. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven professional looking to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking team.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage all commercial aspects of the project from procurement through to final account.
*
Prepare valuations, variations, and cost reports in line with JCT contract requirements.
*
Procure and manage subcontractor packages, ensuring best value and compliance.
*
Conduct site visits and liaise closely with project and site teams to monitor progress and financial performance.
*
Support project planning and cost control, maintaining accurate records and forecasts.
*
Contribute to a positive team culture and uphold company standards for quality, safety, and integrity.
Requirements:
*
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on new build or large-scale construction projects.
*
Strong understanding of JCT Contracts and subcontractor procurement.
*
Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
*
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
*
Ambitious and career-driven, with the desire to grow within a medium-sized regional contractor.
*
Full UK driving licence required.
