Senior Quantity Surveyor - Nuclear Decommissioning Project
Location: North Wales
Salary: Competitive + Package
Sector: Nuclear / Decommissioning / Infrastructure
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a major nuclear decommissioning project. This role offers the opportunity to manage commercial and contractual activities across a technically complex environment, supporting safe, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all commercial and contractual aspects of the project.
Prepare applications for payment, valuations, cost forecasts, and reports.
Maintain registers of variations, delays, and claims.
Identify and manage contractual risks and opportunities.
Support procurement, tendering, and supply chain management.
Provide commercial and contractual advice to project teams.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Experience & Skills:
Minimum 5 years' post-graduate commercial experience in construction or infrastructure.
Strong contractual knowledge, ideally with NEC or similar forms.
Proven financial and commercial acumen.
Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
Experience in nuclear decommissioning or highly regulated sectors is desirable.
Qualifications:
Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline (RICS/CICES accredited).
Chartered or working towards Chartership (RICS / CICES) preferredBefore You Apply
