About Us:
Our client is a leading Tier 1 residential developer with a strong track record of delivering high-quality projects across London. As part of their ongoing commitment to quality and compliance, they are currently undertaking a series of remedial works and are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a key project.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a commercially astute Quantity Surveyor with specific experience in remedial works to support the internal package scope. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing costs, compiling detailed evidence, and supporting the preparation of a robust claim.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage the commercial aspects of internal remedial works packages
* Work closely with site and project teams to gather and verify scope details
* Provide accurate cost assessments and valuations
* Support the preparation and submission of detailed claims documentation
* Identify cost risks and provide commercial mitigation strategies
* Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant contractual frameworks
* Liaise with contractors and consultants to validate costs and progress
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on residential or remedial projects
* Strong knowledge of internal finishes and building systems
* Experience in claims preparation and contract administration
* Familiarity with JCT contracts and relevant building regulations
* Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
* Ability to work independently and within a fast-paced project team
