Role Overview
As a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the commercial performance of multiple fit-out and refurbishment projects across the UK. These range in value from £250k to £3.5M, often in live or heritage environments, and delivered on a design & build basis.
You'll work closely with pre-construction, design, project management, and site teams to ensure cost-effective delivery while maintaining client satisfaction and build quality. At Senior level, you will also mentor junior QSs and help embed best practices across the team.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all commercial aspects of projects including procurement, budgeting, valuations, and final accounts
Prepare cost plans, subcontractor packages, and contract documentation
Liaise with supply chain partners and monitor subcontractor performance
Produce CVRs and provide accurate monthly reporting to the Commercial Manager
Monitor project cash flow, risk, and compliance
Support training and development of graduate/junior QSs (if Senior QS)
Attend regular project meetings across the UK

What We're Looking For
3+ years' experience as a QS or 6+ years for Senior QS (hospitality or retail sector preferred)
Experience in D&B, fit-out, or refurbishment projects
Good understanding of construction contracts and subcontractor management
Comfortable working across multiple live sites and UK travel
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
Relevant qualifications (BSc Quantity Surveying or equivalent)
Full UK Driving Licence
