Job Description
A new opportunity has arisen for a Quotations Engineer to join a busy technical service team based in the Farnborough area.
This is a varied position involving the preparation and management of quotations, coordination with suppliers, and general support across different departments. The role will require you to interpret technical input, manage follow-up processes, and assist with operational tasks as needed.
As the Quotations Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
Producing quotations based on incoming technical data
Sourcing and ordering required components
Liaising with internal teams and external contacts
Handling documentation and data entry
Providing support with general departmental operations
Ideal candidate will have:
Strong communication skills across all levels
Confidence using MS Word and Excel (SAP knowledge beneficial)
A proactive mindset and ability to multitask under pressure
Experience in technical estimating or similar fields is preferred
Industry-specific knowledge is a bonus, though not essential
This role involves collaboration with a range of stakeholders, both internal and external. A background in technical environments will be advantageous.
