R&D Technologist (Textiles & Colour Dye)
Alfreton, Derbyshire
c.a £50,000 | Full-time | Site-based
We’re looking for a curious and driven R&D Technologist to join our clients team in Alfreton, Derbyshire. This hands-on role (approx. 30% lab, 70% shopfloor) will see you supporting production, solving technical challenges and driving innovation within product development.
What you’ll do:
Evaluate raw materials and support production with problem-solving.
Apply knowledge of colour theory, dyeing and colourfastness.
Lead and deliver R&D projects on time.
Operate lab/pilot equipment and follow safe lab practices.
Contribute to continuous improvement and new product development. What we’re looking for:
Science-based degree (Chemistry, Materials, Textiles or similar).
Experience in textiles, dyeing or colour work (Essential)
Strong analytical, project management and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; manufacturing experience desirable. INDE
