Radiopharmacy Technician - Night Shift
Annual Salary: £45,000
Location: Oxford
Job Type: Full-time, Night Shift (12-hour rotating shift pattern, occasional Saturday shifts)Join a leading nuclear medicine company as a Radiopharmacy Technician. Day-to-day of the role:
Participate in the project phase, including drafting and executing validation protocols for the production and quality control of radiopharmaceutical products.
Manufacture PET radiopharmaceuticals using advanced technology in a GMP environment.
Perform aseptic dispensing and ensure sanitation of the production suites.
Conduct quality control procedures to analyze the radionuclide and radiochemical purity of radiopharmaceuticals.
Maintain rigorous standards of cleanliness and compliance in the facility, adhering to environmental, health, and safety guidelines.
Pack and dispatch radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring compliance with local guidelines and transport regulations.
Engage in continuous training and development activities, sharing knowledge and training staff as required.Required Skills & Qualifications:
Science-related degree preferred.
Experience in aseptic dispensing or radiopharmacy is desirable.
Strong understanding of pharmaceutical chemistry and GMP.
Familiarity with Ionising Radiation Local Rules, COSSH, and Health & Safety procedures.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
High level of attention to detail and competence in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Willingness to work flexible hours in a rotating 12-hour shift pattern.Benefits:
