Are you an enthusiastic and reflective educator with a passion for exploring values, beliefs and the richness of worldviews? We are seeking a dedicated Religious Education Teacher to join a welcoming Secondary School community in Coventry from January. This full-time, long-term role offers the chance to inspire students, nurture curiosity and encourage meaningful thinking about themselves, others and the world.

Roles and Responsibilities
* Have regard for the need to safeguard pupils’ well-being following statutory provisions
* Planning and delivering engaging, inclusive RE lessons that explore a wide range of worldviews and faith traditions
* Encouraging thoughtful discussion, respectful debate and inquiry-based learning
* Supporting students to develop critical thinking, empathy and cultural awareness
* Creating a classroom climate that values diversity, tolerance and mutual respect
* Using assessment effectively to monitor progress, identify next steps and adapt teaching accordingly
* Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for every student
* Demonstrate strong classroom management skills following the school’s behaviour policy
* Upholding professional standards and a commitment to ongoing reflection and improvement
Qualifications and Experience:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Read the DfE ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ (2025 document)
* Proven experience teaching Religious Education at KS3/KS4 level (KS5 is advantageous)
Vetting Checks:
* Right to Work in the UK (No Limitations)
* Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service (Child/Child & Adult Workforce)
* Reference checks covering the last 2 years of employment or education
