(PAYE) Salary: Paid to scale (MPS/UPS) – paid weekly via PAYE
We are working with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Rotherham that is seeking a passionate and committed RE Teacher to join their team from January.

The Role:
The successful candidate will deliver engaging and thought-provoking Religious Education lessons across KS3 and KS4, following the national curriculum.
You will inspire pupils to explore moral, philosophical and ethical issues while helping them develop critical thinking skills and respect for diverse beliefs and cultures.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality RE lessons in line with the school’s curriculum.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and learning.
Maintain high standards of behaviour, safeguarding and classroom management.
Contribute to departmental meetings, planning and whole-school initiatives.
Liaise effectively with colleagues, parents and the wider school community.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching RE at secondary level (KS3/KS4).
Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Religious Education.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
An enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply).
