Part-Time Teacher of Religious Education (RE) – Fixed-Term
Days: Tuesday to Thursday
Contract: Fixed-Term (September 2025 – December 2025)
Location: East Lancashire Area (BB10 postcode)
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
An excellent opportunity has arisen at a high-performing selective school for a committed and knowledgeable Teacher of Religious Education to join a dynamic Humanities team on a part-time, fixed-term basis from September to December 2025.

The Role:
Teach Religious Education across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
Deliver high-quality, thought-provoking lessons that inspire curiosity and critical thinking
Work collaboratively within a supportive and well-established department
Contribute to the wider life of the school as appropriate
The Ideal Candidate:
A qualified teacher (QTS) with a passion for Religious Education
Committed to academic excellence and inclusive practice
Able to engage and challenge able students in a supportive learning environment
Strong organisational and communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
