Job Title: Religious Education (RE) Teacher

Pay Rate: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience)

Role Overview:
As an RE Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that explore religious beliefs, moral issues, and philosophical questions. You will help students develop respect for different worldviews and foster a classroom environment rooted in curiosity, dialogue, and understanding.
Responsibilities as an RE Teacher:
Plan and deliver thoughtful RE lessons across Key Stages.
Encourage pupils to examine ethical dilemmas, cultural diversity, and personal values.
Promote classroom discussion and independent thinking.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Support pupils with differing abilities and backgrounds, including SEN and EAL learners.
Contribute to the wider life of the school and support cross-curricular initiatives.
Requirements for the RE Teacher role:
UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
A degree in Religious Studies, Theology, Philosophy, or a related subject.
Proven experience teaching RE in a UK school setting.
Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
A respectful, inclusive, and reflective approach to teaching.
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
