Job Title: Counterbalance & Reach Truck Driver – Nights
Location: Walsall
Hours: Permanent Night Shift – 6:00pm to 2:00am
Contract Type: Temp to Perm
Pay: Competitive hourly rate (depending on experience)
About the Role:
We’re currently recruiting an experienced Counterbalance and Reach Truck Driver to join a busy distribution centre in Walsall. This is a night shift role working in a freezer environment, handling chilled and frozen goods as part of an efficient warehouse operation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operating counterbalance and reach trucks safely and efficiently
* Loading and unloading vehicles
* Picking, moving, and storing goods in the freezer section
* Completing relevant paperwork and following stock control procedures
* Maintaining health & safety and hygiene standards
Requirements:
* Valid Counterbalance and Reach Truck licences (in date)
* Previous experience within a freezer or cold-store environment (preferred)
* Reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic
* Ability to work permanent night shifts (6pm–2am)
