Reach Truck Driver – Temp to Perm Opportunity
Location: Luton
Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour (temporary)
Salary: £28,500 per annum (once permanent)
Type: Full-time, Temp to Perm (Permanent after 4 weeks)

We’re recruiting for a Reach Truck Driver who can confidently operate a reach truck while also supporting and guiding agency staff within the warehouse. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone immediately available who’s looking for long-term stability with the potential to go permanent after just four short weeks.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a Reach Truck and assist with general warehouse duties.
Supervise and guide a small team of 3–5 agency workers to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Carry out manual handling tasks such as sticking, repacking, boxing, loading, and labelling.
Load and offload trucks and export containers safely and efficiently.
Accurately pick, pack, and wrap customer orders.
Check dates and quantities of incoming and outgoing stock.
Maintain a clean and organised warehouse and yard area.Requirements:
Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Forklift Driver.
Valid Reach Truck – in-house or expired accepted (refresher training available).
Previous experience supervising small teams within a warehouse setting.
Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks (up to 5kg).
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Good numerical and communication skills.
Flexibility to work occasional weekends or evenings when required.Benefits:

£13.50 per hour whilst temping, increasing to £28,500 per annum once permanent
