Reactive Maintenance Engineer – Grantham
£37,000–£40,000 | 4 on 4 off (Days & Nights)
We're looking for a mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer to join a busy recycling and waste processing facility in Grantham. You’ll be responsible for reactive and planned maintenance across a variety of plant machinery – think conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, compressors, and more. Some electrical work is involved, so a flexible, hands-on approach is key.
What you’ll need:

Level 3 Mechanical Engineering qualification or equivalent
*
Minimum 1 year’s experience working with industrial plant equipment
*
Solid understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic welding
*
Problem-solving mindset and a team-player attitude
Shifts: 12-hour shifts on a 4 on / 4 off pattern – rotating days and nights (6am–6pm / 6pm–6am)
It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys getting stuck in and keeping things running smoothly in a fast-paced environment. PPE provided.
