Read, Write, Inc Teacher / TA – Wythenshawe
Primary School | Full-Time | Long-Term Opportunity
£90–£140 per day (depending on experience)
Cover People are working with a supportive primary school in Wythenshawe who are looking to appoint an experienced Read, Write, Inc (RWI) Teacher or Teaching Assistant to support early reading and phonics across the school.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is confident delivering RWI phonics sessions and can support pupils in developing strong reading foundations.
✏️ The Role
Delivering Read, Write, Inc phonics sessions to small groups
Supporting pupils across EYFS and KS1
Helping children progress in early reading, phonics and literacy
Working closely with the phonics lead and class teachers
Supporting assessment and tracking of pupil progress
⚠️ Essential Requirement
You must have experience delivering the Read, Write, Inc (RWI) phonics scheme.
✅ About You
Experience working in a primary school setting
Confident delivering structured phonics sessions
Strong understanding of early reading development
Patient, engaging and organised
DBS on the update service or willing to apply
