 Empowering Learning

Empowering Learning is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Reception Class Teacher for a lovely primary school in Denton. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Early Years practitioner who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and creating a nurturing, engaging start to school life for young learners.

About the role:
 You will be responsible for leading a Reception class, delivering an inspiring curriculum that supports children's early development across all EYFS areas of learning. The successful teacher will work closely with support staff and SLT to ensure a positive, stimulating and well-structured environment where every child can thrive.

Key responsibilities:

Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the EYFS framework

Creating a warm, inclusive and child-centred classroom environment

Using continuous provision and play-based learning to promote exploration and development

Tracking children's progress and completing observations and assessments

Working collaboratively with EYFS colleagues, TAs and parents

Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, learning and safeguarding

We are looking for a teacher who:

Is a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with Early Years experience

Has strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and child development

Is creative, nurturing, organised and committed to high standards

Builds strong relationships with children, staff and families

Can create an engaging learning environment that supports all pupils

Is passionate about giving children the best possible start to their education
