Are you a nurturing and committed Early Years practitioner looking for a new opportunity this September? A warm and welcoming primary school in Great Barr is seeking a passionate Reception Teacher to join their team for the autumn term, with the possibility of the role extending beyond December.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging teaching in our Reception class, supporting each child’s early development in a caring, inclusive environment. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about early years education and confident in delivering the EYFS curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver effective, creative and child-centred lessons in line with the EYFS framework

Foster a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment

Assess, monitor and report on children’s progress, identifying areas for development

Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and the wider school team
*
Build strong relationships with parents and carers
What We’re Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching in Early Years, ideally in a Reception setting
*
A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and early childhood development
*
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
*
A caring, enthusiastic and flexible approach
