Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a warm, nurturing primary setting in the Little Lever area of Bolton, who are seeking a committed Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team from January or February half-term. This long-term position offers an excellent opportunity for a passionate EYFS practitioner to make a strong impact at a crucial stage in children's development.

The successful candidate will work within a highly supportive EYFS unit, equipped with modern indoor and outdoor resources that allow children to learn through exploration, play, and purposeful interactions.

Main responsibilities include:

Delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate EYFS lessons

Planning for continuous provision and creating high-quality learning environments

Supporting early phonics, communication, and language development

Using observation-based assessments such as EYFS frameworks

Working closely with TAs, parents, and the leadership team

Promoting independence, curiosity, and early positive attitudes to learning

Ideal applicants will possess:

QTS with experience in an EYFS setting

Strong understanding of child development and early learning pedagogy

A nurturing, patient, and encouraging manner

Creativity and excellent communication skills

Effective behaviour management tailored to early learners
