Reception Class Teacher – Maternity Cover – Camden – September Start
Pertemps Education is seeking a Reception Class Teacher to join a warm and welcoming primary school in Camden from September 2025. This is a maternity cover position, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to a well-supported and child-centred Early Years environment.

Contract: Maternity Cover (Full-Time)
Salary: M1 – M6 + Inner London Allowance
About the Role:
Full-time Reception Class Teacher role as part of the Early Years Foundation Stage team
Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons that nurture children’s early learning
Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment
Use observations and formative assessment to plan next steps and monitor progress
Work collaboratively with the EYFS team, support staff and parents
Contribute to the wider life of the school through planning, meetings and eventsThe Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have experience teaching in the Early Years Foundation Stage (ECT's Encouraged)
Demonstrate excellent understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
Be warm, caring and nurturing in their classroom approach
Have strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
