Reception Teacher- High Wycombe - September 2025 Start
An inclusive and nurturing primary school in High Wycombe is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team from September 2025.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to join a vibrant school community that places a strong emphasis on child-centred learning, creativity, and early development. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating a stimulating and supportive environment where every child can thrive during their first year of formal education.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to support pupils' progress
Monitor and assess children's development, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
Support the transition of children into the Reception year and prepare them for Key Stage 1
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in Early Years, ideally within a Reception setting
A nurturing, creative, and adaptable approach to teaching
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A genuine passion for early childhood educationThis position is a full-time maternity cover role commencing in September 2025, with a warm and welcoming team, excellent facilities, and a supportive leadership structure.
