We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a forward‑thinking organisation within the software sector, who are looking for a friendly and professional Temporary Receptionist to support their team for a short-term assignment.

The Role

As Receptionist, you will play a key role in supporting our client's day‑to‑day operations and ensuring a welcoming and professional experience for all visitors and callers.

Your responsibilities will include:

Welcoming visitors and acting as the first point of contact
Managing incoming calls and directing them appropriately
Organising appointments and maintaining calendars
Providing administrative support to the wider team
Maintaining the reception area, ensuring it is tidy, welcoming, and professional at all times

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Friendly, approachable, and confident interacting with a wide range of people
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
A clear and professional communicator, both face-to-face and on the phone
Proactive and able to respond calmly and efficiently in a busy environment

Compliance Requirements

Due to the nature of the role, candidates must:

Hold a current Standard DBS check, and
Be willing to undergo a credit check as part of the onboarding process
