Temporary Receptionist

Dates: Monday 18th August & Tuesday 19th August (initial assignment)

Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm

Lunch: 1 hour unpaid break

Pay: £13.20 per hour

Location: Leeds City Centre

We are currently recruiting for a professional and personable Temporary Receptionist to support a well established professional services organisation in Leeds City Centre.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for extra cash for summer with previous reception or front-of-house experience who enjoys working in a busy professional environment and providing outstanding customer service.

The Role

Reporting into the front of house team manager, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and telephone enquiries, ensuring the reception area is managed efficiently and professionally while also providing general administrative support to the wider office.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  * Greeting visitors and providing a professional first impression

  * Managing visitor sign-in procedures and issuing visitor passes

  * Answering incoming calls and directing enquiries promptly and professionally

  * Booking meeting rooms and arranging refreshments for internal and external meetings

  * Assisting with travel and accommodation bookings when required

  * Carrying out general administration duties including filing, photocopying and data entry

  * Maintaining a professional reception environment at all times

About You

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:

  * Previous experience in a receptionist, front-of-house or office support role

  * Strong customer service and communication skills

  * A professional and friendly manner

  * Good organisational and time management skills

  * Confidence using Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel

  * The ability to work independently and manage a busy reception area effectively

This role would suit candidates from backgrounds such as Receptionist, Front of House, Corporate Receptionist, Office Administrator, Customer Service Administrator or Facilities Receptionist.
