My client are a London based contractor operating across refurbishment, repairs and maintenance, new build and heritage sectors. They have been operating for over 40 years and have an extensive client base across local council authorities, housing associations, heritage estates, academic institutions, government bodies and more.
About the Role
Seeking a friendly, organised Receptionist to be the first point of contact for residents and visitors. Central to this role is handling incoming calls from tenants with professionalism and care.
Key Responsibilities
* Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls with a warm and professional manner.
* Greet visitors, including residents and clients, and offer assistance or directions as required.
* Manage the reception area, ensuring it remains tidy, welcoming, and well-presented.
* Handle daily mail and deliveries—sorting, logging, and distributing as needed.
* Provide general administrative support, such as data entry, filing, and managing visitor logs or badges.
* Assist with scheduling meetings or appointments, managing diaries, and coordinating facilities.
About You
* Previous Administration / Receptionist experience.
* Construction or residential experience.
* Longevity with current or recent employer.
* Excellent telephone and interpersonal communication skills; courteous and approachable.
* Organised and reliable with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
* Competent in Microsoft Office or similar software and comfortable using office systems.
* Presents professionally and acts with discretion as the face of the organisation.
