Recovery Coordinator - Group Worker | Recovery Steps Cumbria Location: Castle Street, Carlisle, CA3 8SY Working Hours: 18.5 hours per week Contract Type: Permanent Salary: £25,877.80 - £32,090 pro rata Please note: The salary listed reflects the full earning potential for this role. About the role We are currently recruiting for a Recovery Coordinator (Group Worker) to join the team on a part-time, permanent basis. In this role, you will support individuals throughout their recovery journey, managing a caseload of service users from assessment through to sustained recovery. You will deliver both 1:1 interventions and structured group work, aimed at increasing engagement, promoting wellbeing, and supporting positive outcomes. You will work collaboratively with the wider team and partner agencies, contributing to effective recovery planning, risk management, and safeguarding, while promoting a person-centred approach at all times. Essential criteria * Experience of working with individuals with complex needs, ideally within substance misuse or a related field * Experience of delivering structured group interventions and/or 1:1 support * Ability to complete assessments, recovery planning, and risk management * Good understanding of safeguarding and harm reduction approaches * Strong communication and teamwork skills * IT literate, with the ability to maintain accurate records What We Offer We value the people who make a difference every day.
