Recruitment Consultant – HGV Driving Recruitment
📍 Location: Colchester
🕒 Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 16:30
💷 Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per year + 10% commission from day one
Are you a driven, people-focused professional with experience in transport or logistics recruitment? We’re looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team in Colchester, specializing in the recruitment of HGV drivers (Class 1, Class 2, etc.).
This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a busy and rewarding desk, placing skilled HGV drivers into temporary and permanent roles across the region.
🔧 What you’ll be doing:
Managing a 360 recruitment desk focused on HGV driver placements
Sourcing, screening, and registering compliant HGV drivers
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and candidates
Meeting client staffing needs efficiently and professionally
Ensuring all drivers meet legal and regulatory compliance (DVLA, CPC, etc.)
Working towards KPIs with uncapped earning potential from day one
✅ What we’re looking for:
Previous experience in recruitment, ideally within HGV/driving/transport sectors
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
A proactive attitude and strong work ethic
Knowledge of driver compliance and logistics regulations is a bonus
Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
