Job Description
Are you looking for hands-on work in a fast-paced environment where you can make a real difference? Our client, a leader in sustainable waste reduction, is on a mission to reduce landfill by recycling mattresses. They’re passionate about the environment and are seeking like-minded individuals to join their team in Blackburn.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Dismantling and processing mattresses for recycling
* Performing manual handling tasks in a physically demanding environment
* Working towards individual and team targets
* Contributing to sustainability efforts by reducing landfill waste
* Keeping the workspace safe and organised (note: the environment can be dusty/messy)
What We’re Looking For
* Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting throughout the shift
* Hardworking, reliable, and a strong team player
* Experience in recycling or waste management is helpful but not essential
* Positive attitude and a willingness to work in a fast-paced setting
Additional Details
* Shift Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 3:00pm
* Bonus Scheme: Performance-based bonuses available, dependent on achieving targets
* Training: Training is provided
* Contract Type: Temp-to-perm – permanent roles available after a successful 12-week periodBefore You Apply
