Job Description
This is an excellent opportunity to join an Ofsted rated 'Good' FE College as a Refigeration Assessor
Dovetail & Slate are working with a further education college in the West Yorkshire who are on the lookout for a Refrigeration Assessor. Full training can be provided for someone coming off the tools and in to education.
If you are coming from trade, you will be enrolled to an Assessors Award course and work towards becoming a fully qualified Assessor whilst working as an Assessor.
In this role you will carry out site visits with level 3 Refrigeration apprentices and gather evidence towards their NVQ portolio's, during these visits, you will report back to the college 'area's of improvement' for the apprentices.
You will build NVQ portfolio's and assist learners in preperation for their EPA's (End Point Assessments)
Requirements
A full driving license
Assessors Award (or willingness to work towards one)
Level 3 NVQ in Refigeration (or equivalent)
F-Gas qualification.
A minimum of 3 years industry experience What You Get...
A salary of up to £36,000 (or a competitive hourly rate)
Able to apply for Government FE scheme (up to £6,000) - not directly from the college.
