We’re working with a well-established refrigeration and air conditioning business who are looking to bring in a strong Refrigeration Engineer to join their growing team.
This is a properly balanced role with a commercial-heavy focus, plus some industrial exposure, and a split workload covering commercial sites and domestic AC systems (offices and residential properties).

About the role
You’ll be working across:
Commercial refrigeration systems (primary focus)
Some industrial refrigeration equipment and environments
Air conditioning installs, servicing and maintenance
Split workload across:
Commercial sites (offices, retail, light industrial)
Domestic AC systems (houses and residential installs)
Expect a hands-on mix of service, maintenance, and fault-finding with occasional install work depending on project flow.
About you
Strong background in commercial refrigeration (essential)
Some industrial experience preferred
Confident working with AC systems in both commercial and domestic settings
Solid fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Someone comfortable being out on the road and managing their own workload
A proper all-rounder who doesn’t panic when things get technical or varied
Essential
* F-Gas Category 1
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Proven experience in commercial refrigeration
* Experience servicing, maintaining and fault-finding refrigeration systems
* Ability to work independently on breakdowns and planned maintenance
Highly Desirable
* Experience with air conditioning systems (splits, multi-splits, VRV/VRF)
* Some industrial refrigeration exposure
* Refrigeration or HVAC apprenticeship background
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
* Electrical fault-finding experience
* Experience with cold rooms, chillers and commercial refrigeration plant
Nice-to-Have
* IPAF
* PASMA
* Manufacturer training (Daikin, Mitsubishi, Toshiba, etc.)
* CO₂ refrigeration experience
