Refrigeration Engineer (Install Bias)

Location: Birmingham
Salary: Up to £45,000 + Excellent Benefits

About the Role

Due to continued growth, we're looking for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer with an installation bias to join our expanding team in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Refrigeration Engineer looking for a long-term role with excellent earning potential, ongoing training, and genuine career progression.

Key Responsibilities

  * Install, service, and maintain commercial refrigeration systems.

  * Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across retail and hospitality sites.

  * Diagnose and repair faults on display cabinets, cold rooms, and pack systems.

  * Ensure all work is completed in line with F-Gas regulations and health & safety standards.

  * Complete electronic job reports accurately.

  * Participate in the on-call rota (approximately 1 week in 6).

What We're Looking For

  * Experience as a Refrigeration Engineer working on commercial or supermarket refrigeration systems.

  * NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (or equivalent).

  * F-Gas Category 1 certification.

  * Good knowledge of remote packs and control systems such as Danfoss and Carel.

  * Full UK Driving Licence.

  * Professional, customer-focused approach.
