Refrigeration Engineer – York / Preston / Blackburn & Surrounding Areas
Salary: Up to £40,000 + Door-to-Door Pay + Overtime + On-Call Retainer
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm + On-Call Rota
Location: Covering York, Preston, Blackburn, and surrounding areas
We are a family-run, personable catering firm known for our high standards and loyal client base. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a skilled and reliable Refrigeration Engineer to join our friendly and supportive team.

The Role:
*
Carry out reactive repairs, planned maintenance (PPMs), and installations on commercial refrigeration systems
*
Work across various sites including hospitality, education, and healthcare environments
*
Participate in the on-call rota (approximately 1 in 5 weekends)
*
Complete accurate service reports via tablet/PDA
*
Deliver excellent service and build trusted relationships with customers
What We’re Looking For:
*
Qualified and experienced Refrigeration Engineer
*
F-Gas certified (essential)
*
Experience in commercial or public sector refrigeration environments
*
Full UK driving licence
*
Excellent communication and fault-finding skills
*
Willingness to learn and cross-train into catering equipment (training provided)
