Role Overview
As a Refrigeration Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of commercial refrigeration equipment. You’ll work across a variety of client sites, independently and as part of a team, ensuring all work is completed safely and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
· Service and repair and Installation of commercial refrigeration systems, including:
o Cold rooms
o Cellar cooling systems
o Ice machines
o Display and undercounter fridges and freezers
· Diagnose and rectify faults quickly and effectively.
· Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs.
· Ensure compliance with F-Gas and health & safety regulations.
· Communicate clearly with clients and colleagues to ensure outstanding service delivery.
· Accurately complete job records and documentation.
· Work flexibly across the Home Counties, Greater London and surrounding region.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
· F-Gas Certification
· Proven experience with commercial refrigeration systems
· Full UK driving licence
· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
· Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
· Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
· Professional, customer-focused attitude
Desirable:
· Experience working in hospitality or catering environments
· Basic electrical knowledge or relevant additional qualifications
