Job Description
My client based in the Bristol area are looking for a Refrigeration Engineer to support their operation around the county.
Purpose Statement - Refigeration Engineer
To carry out planned maintenance (PPM) and minor works repairs to set HVCA standards. Equipment includes, commercial refrigeration and A/C plant, motors, pumps, ventilation plant and associated control panels and wiring, . All works undertaken in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act, company safety procedures and contract specification.
Key Accountabilities - Refrigeration Engineer
* Periodic maintenance of Air Conditioning Installations.
* Periodic inspection of Commercial refrigeration equipment.
* Minor Air Conditioning Installs.
* Re-active repairs to refrigeration and A/C equipment.
* Correct and timely completion of paperwork, and JobLogic reporting according to company policy and procedure.
* Respond to Reactive Works in line with our contracted response times.
* Provide engineering condition reports and quotations.
* Delivery of service excellence with good customer interface skills
* Work safely and follow all site rules
* Respond to Reactive Work requests as required to include Mechanical & Electrical repairs and minor installations
Technical Skills / Knowledge - Refrigeration Engineer
* Demonstrate competence in all areas of your primary trade (with valid certification)
* Delivery of service excellence
* Knowledge and understanding with a proactive approach to the following other trade skills:
* Apprentice trained with City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering / Air Conditioning
* Fgas experience City and Guilds 2079
* Approved Persons status for Mechanical Installations
Qualifications / Person Specification - Refrigeration Engineer
ESSENTIAL Minimum trade qualifications.
PREFERABLE Reasonable competence or a basic understanding of the other trades where certification permits
DESIRABLE Minor building/fabric items; controls/hydraulics/pneumatics as requested when necessaryBefore You Apply
