Refrigeration Service Engineer

Location: Milton Keynes (Field-Based)
Salary: £42,000 - £48,000 per annum + Door-to-Door Pay

About the Role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Refrigeration Service Engineer to join a growing service team operating from Milton Keynes. This is a field-based position supporting a wide range of commercial customers, with the majority of work located throughout the M25 corridor.

The successful candidate must be comfortable travelling daily around the M25, working across a varied customer base and responding to both planned and reactive service calls. Key Responsibilities

  * Carry out reactive breakdown repairs on commercial refrigeration equipment across customer sites throughout the M25 corridor.

  * Service, maintain and repair cold rooms, display cabinets, chillers, freezer units and associated refrigeration systems.

  * Diagnose faults quickly and carry out effective repairs to minimise customer downtime.

  * Complete planned preventative maintenance visits across sites around the M25.

  * Ensure all work complies with current Health & Safety legislation and F-Gas regulations.

  * Complete service reports using digital reporting systems.

  * Deliver a professional, customer-focused service at all times.

  * Participate in the on-call rota and attend emergency call-outs across the M25 region when required.

Essential Requirements

  * Proven experience as a Refrigeration Service Engineer.

  * NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (or equivalent).

  * Valid F-Gas Certification.

  * R290 qualification.

  * CO₂ qualification.

  * CSCS Card.

  * Full UK Driving Licence.

  * Happy to travel extensively and work across customer sites around the M25 corridor.

  * Able to work independently and manage your own workload efficiently.
