Refrigeration Service Engineer

Location: Milton Keynes (Field-Based)
Salary: £42,000 - £48,000 per annum + Door-to-Door Pay

About the Role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Refrigeration Service Engineer to join a growing service team operating from Milton Keynes. This is a field-based position supporting a wide range of commercial customers, with the majority of work located throughout the M25 corridor.

The successful candidate must be comfortable travelling daily around the M25, working across a varied customer base and responding to both planned and reactive service calls. If you're looking for a role where you'll spend most of your time working within the M25 region, this could be the ideal opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
Carry out reactive breakdown repairs on commercial refrigeration equipment across customer sites throughout the M25 corridor.

Service, maintain and repair cold rooms, display cabinets, chillers, freezer units and associated refrigeration systems.

Diagnose faults quickly and carry out effective repairs to minimise customer downtime.

Complete planned preventative maintenance visits across sites around the M25.

Ensure all work complies with current Health & Safety legislation and F-Gas regulations.

Complete service reports using digital reporting systems.

Deliver a professional, customer-focused service at all times.

Participate in the on-call rota and attend emergency call-outs across the M25 region when required.

Essential Requirements
Proven experience as a Refrigeration Service Engineer.

NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (or equivalent).

Valid F-Gas Certification.

R290 qualification.

CO₂ qualification.

CSCS Card.

Full UK Driving Licence.

Happy to travel extensively and work across customer sites around the M25 corridor.

Able to work independently and manage your own workload efficiently.
