The Role: Regional Commercial Manager
This is a senior-level Regional Commercial Manager role overseeing all commercial functions across the South, South West, and South Wales, operating from five regional offices.
As Regional Commercial Manager, you will report directly to the Regional Director and play a pivotal role in shaping commercial strategy, leading teams, and delivering profitable project outcomes.
Key responsibilities of the Regional Commercial Manager include:

Managing and mentoring Commercial Managers and Quantity Surveyors across five offices
*
Leading monthly WIP reviews and invoicing performance across business units
*
Driving commercial consistency and compliance across all regional operations
*
Reporting on margins, forecasts, and commercial KPIs to the SMT and Board
*
Identifying and managing commercial risks, losses, and margin erosion
*
Supporting new bids and pricing strategies from a commercial standpoint
*
Enhancing commercial best practices and developing high-performing teams
*
Acting as the commercial face of the region, building strong client relationships
This Regional Commercial Manager role is suited to someone who thrives in a strategic leadership position and wants to make a real commercial impact at a regional level.
The Person – Regional Commercial Manager Profile
To be successful as Regional Commercial Manager, you’ll ideally have:

Strong experience within property services, retrofit, or planned maintenance
*
A background in social housing is beneficial but not essential
*
Experience managing teams at Commercial Manager or Managing QS level
*
RICS qualification or working toward it preferred
*
Familiarity with NHF contracts and Schedule of Rates
*
The ability to produce board-level reporting and lead commercial strategy
*
A proactive, innovative mindset with excellent leadership and stakeholder skills
