Regional Sales Engineer (OEM)
West Yorkshire

Our Client who is a global manufacturer of advanced engineering materials and high-performance plastics is looking to recruit a Regional Sales Engineer to join its UK commercial team based in Todmorden.
The company produces precision-engineered plastic parts and shapes used across a wide range of industries, from everyday consumer products to highly specialised aerospace and industrial applications.
This role will focus on managing and growing key OEM customer relationships, identifying new application opportunities, and supporting the continued expansion of the business across the UK and EMEA markets.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage and develop relationships with key OEM accounts, with the goal of significantly growing the customer portfolio.
* Identify new opportunities for engineered plastic shapes and machined components.
* Provide technical expertise and application support to customers.
* Work closely with internal sales, engineering, and production teams to deliver customer solutions.
* Respond to customer enquiries, prepare technical quotations, and manage follow-up activities to achieve sales targets.
* Maintain accurate CRM data (Salesforce) to support forecasting and strategic planning.
* Promote best practices across the sales function and collaborate with inside sales teams.

What We're Looking For
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
* Background in technical sales or engineering, ideally within a manufacturing or production environment.
* Strong technical knowledge of materials and machining processes.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
* Familiarity with CNC machining and ERP systems is advantageous.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
