Where will you be working?
We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.
This role will be within our MEICA and capital maintenance team. Our Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation (MEICA) experts offer a one-stop solution, including ongoing operation and maintenance services.

What will you be doing?
The role involves leading and mentoring the Health & Safety team, ensuring their development, support, and accountability. It requires providing strong SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) leadership across all projects within the zone, monitoring performance metrics, and identifying risks. Responsibilities include overseeing audits, inspections, and ensuring timely closure of corrective actions. The position serves as the senior SHE representative in client engagements, participating in reviews and strategic meetings. Building strong relationships with operational leaders, subcontractors, and supply chain partners is key. Additionally, the role manages significant incident investigations, ensuring thorough root cause analysis and the implementation of effective learning outcomes.

Strategic leader who can balance assurance with practical operational support.
Strong communicator, able to influence at senior client and director level.
Ability to demonstrate flexibility / versatility combined with initiative, drive and tenacity to deliver objectives.
In-depth knowledge of CDM 2015, high-risk construction activities, and utility sector risks.
Proven experience in senior SHE leadership within large-scale infrastructure.
NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Level 6 in Occupational Health & Safety (CMIOSH, or working towards)
