REGIONAL TECHNICAL SALES MANAGER(S) - (NW/SW/SE/NE) This global independent supplier of industrial filtration solutions & equipment is recruiting for ambitious and driven Technical Sales Managers to join their rapidly expanding team. Each Sales Manager will take ownership of their own region of the UK, being North West / North East / South West / South East. Working closely with the Sales Director and supporting team, you will join at a time of exciting growth and development with genuine long term career growth. The Technical Sales Manager roles will lead the hunting and development of sales of a complete range of industrial products and consumables to a wide range of industry sectors including food & beverage, chemical and water treatment. Competencies: * Knowledge and understanding of the manufacturing sector and process industries * Driven and self-motivated with excellent interpersonal skills and a successful track record in sales * Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals * An ability to form strong, long lasting relationships with customers * Adaptability and flexibility when dealing with all levels of stakeholders at both existing customers and new prospects * Possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails and when submitting reports * Be able to articulate all aspects of the technical and commercial characteristics of our product line to a variety of contact points within a client’s organisation * Communicate and liaise collaboratively with colleagues at all levels from the Directors to the shop floor. * Strong commercial judgement with a commercial acumen * Maintain and report on a high-quality sales pipeline in line with the company’s growth expectations * Focussed on achieving and surpassing sales targets with a real hunger to win new business Responsibilities * Contacting and visiting both new clients and maximising existing client potential * Key point of contact for clients and providing technical assistance, product education and after-sales support * To build, develop and maintain effective relationships with key customers and contacts * Introduce new products to your customer base * Making technical presentations * Producing client quotations, follow up and managing client accounts * Developing long-term relationships with clients through managing and interpreting their requirements * Meeting sales targets. You will demonstrate relevant business development experience gained in the manufacturing and process industries and experience in liquid filtration would be desirable.
